Major Announcement: Metagen Enzyme Acquires $1 Million Funding
Metagen Enzyme Corporation has reached an agreement with Shenzhen Metagen Biotechnology Corporation (Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China). Shenzhen Metagen Biotechnology Corporation will sponsor approximately $1 million CAD of funds over the next three years to Metagen Enzyme Corporation for targeted exogenous feed enzyme product research and development.
The agreement was reached to aid collaborative research and the development of novel exogenous enzymes for potential industrial feed applications. Shenzhen Metagen Biotechnology Corporation is positioned through this agreement to license potential future feed enzyme technologies for further commercialization efforts in China and other Asian regions.
The majority of this sponsorship fund has been awarded as a grant-in-aid research project to the University of Guelph by Metagen Enzyme Corporation. The University has recently approved the initiation of this project, which will be conducted by following University of Guelph research policies.
